use itPercentage Calculator
The three percentage questions you actually ask: what is X% of Y, X is what percent of Y, and percentage increase or decrease. All three in one panel. Type — get answers immediately.
Word & Character Counter
Paste an essay, an email, a tweet draft. Get words, characters with and without spaces, sentences, paragraphs, and estimated reading time as you type. Nothing leaves your browser.
Password Generator
Strong, cryptographically random passwords made entirely in your browser using crypto.getRandomValues(). We don't see them. We can't see them. The page does the math; the page forgets.
Unit Converter
Length, weight, temperature, and volume — between every unit pair people actually search for. Pick a category, pick units, type a number. Two-way: edit either side.
Color Converter
Pick a color or paste a HEX, RGB, or HSL value. Get all three formats instantly, plus a CSS-ready snippet for each.
JSON Formatter
Paste any JSON. Pretty-print with 2-space indent, minify to a single line, or validate. Errors point to the line and column. All client-side.
Base64 Encoder
UTF-8 safe Base64 encoding and decoding. Type or paste text on either side — the other side updates live.
QR Code Generator
Turn any URL or text into a QR code right here in your browser. Tweak size, download as PNG, share. No tracking, no servers. Need to read a QR code instead? Tool 09 ↓
QR Code Reader
Decode any QR code three ways: scan with your camera, upload an image, or paste a screenshot (Cmd/Ctrl-V). Recognizes URLs, Wi-Fi credentials, contacts, plain text and more. The image is processed entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
Age Calculator
Pick a birthdate. Get exact age in years, months, days, plus total days lived and how long until your next birthday.
BMI Calculator
Body Mass Index in metric or imperial, with the WHO category. BMI is a screening tool, not a diagnosis — it doesn't account for muscle mass, body composition, age, or ethnicity. Talk to a clinician for anything real.
Tip Calculator
Bill, tip percentage, number of people. Out: tip amount, total, and what each person owes. Defaults that match what you actually do at dinner.
Lorem Ipsum
Placeholder text for your mockups. Generate paragraphs, sentences, or words. Optional starting "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet…" for the classic look.
About
Foliokit
Foliokit is a single-page collection of thirteen free utility tools. Each one does exactly one thing: a calculation, a conversion, a generation, or — in the case of the QR reader — a decoding. We built it because most "tool" sites are bloated, stuffed with autoplay video, and slow to first interaction. This one isn't.
Every tool runs entirely in your browser. We never see your text, your passwords, your QR contents, your camera feed, or your numbers. There's no signup, no account, no tracking pixel beyond standard analytics, and no data storage on our end. Close the tab and the work goes with you.
The site is funded by display advertising. If you find it useful, the kindest thing you can do is share the link or whitelist us in your ad blocker. That's it.
